Break through prayer

Paul made in one of his letters to the Corinthian Christians:

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” 1 Cor. 16:9

Had Paul just said, “for a great door and effectual is opened unto me” and stopped, we would have every cause to jump and shout. However, notice how he continues: “and there are many adversaries.”

That’s War at the Edge of Breakthrough.

The door was opened, and it was not an ordinary door. Paul described it as a great and effectual door. The moment the enemies saw that the door was opened, they showed up to close it, thereby hindering Paul from going through his breakthrough.

We are at the edge of breakthrough – are you going to cross over? We have all struggled to get to this point –will we follow Holy Spirit into our destiny –or – will we hold back and just test the waters?

Phil.3:8-14

Lets look at a place in the word called Kadesh Barnea. Biblical names of people, places and things have meanings that teach profound spiritual lessons.

Kadesh Barnea was a transit point in the pilgrimage of the children of Israel to the Promised Land. Kadesh Barnea was a stopping point on their journey just like the Oasis is a stopping point or staging area for you. You have the same options as the children of God

Kadesh Barnea was a point of retreat at the edge of the Promised Land. Kadesh Barnea is symbolic of a negative turning point. We have learned that there is always war at the edge of breakthrough.

Geographically, from Horeb, the mount of God, to Kadesh Barnea was eleven days journey. The presence of God experienced at Horeb – Mount Sinai – was to strengthen the faith of God’s people to enter the Promised Land. However at Kadesh Barnea, the awesome encounter with the Almighty and his mighty manifestation at Horeb was an experience, just eleven days old. Canaan itself was only two days journey away from Kadesh Barnea. Between the Promised Land and Horeb was the place where the powers of failure at the edge of success attacked, forcing the children of Israel to fall back from the place that was so close.

This journey is described in Deut 1. They had travelled for 11 days with only 2 more to go to reach their destination. Yet after all the efforts, the severity of the journey so far from Egypt, just two days to enter their rest – what happened? God’s Chosen people faltered, failed and fell to their own doom. The spirit of Kadesh Barnea was at work.

You have worked on a project. You have pursued your career to graduation level. You have prayed fervently almost getting the desired results. You have waited patiently just about to obtain the desired blessing. But something strange happens and you forfeit, you walk away from the completion of the project, the career, obtaining answers to the prayers and the patience that have cost you so much. It’s the work of the spirit of Kadesh Barnea. It makes people miss their blessings just when they are about to get them. Instead of receiving a miracle pass, the opposition intercepts and take over.

This spirit worked so much against the children of Israel that the anointed exhortations from the fire brand lips of Moses, a mighty servant of God, didn’t work. Will that happen here? The people were hardened to their own hurt. Some people are like that under the attacks of this spirit. There is nothing anybody or servant of God can say to encourage them or to help them carry on. They just want to quit their career, quit their jobs, and quit their projects, quit their counselling at the edge of their breakthroughs.

Deut. 1:40. 45-46: But as for you, turn around and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea. … You came back and wept before the LORD, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you. And so you stayed in Kadesh many days—all the time you spent there.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT OF KADESH BARNEA IN YOUR LIFE?

? It is when you cannot point to anything tangible you have achieved with your life.

? It is when you cannot point to anything tangible you have achieved with your life.
? It is when you stand at a cross-roads, not knowing what to do or where to turn.
? It is staying at a satanic bus-stop meaning staying where you are. Your life is the same now as it was last year; it is like you are drifting in the ocean of life.
? It is becoming shepherdless even when you have a shepherd. You do things your own way. You will not allow leaders to guide you.

With fervour and urgency in your heart, pray. With a sincere heart before the Lord, you will discover the secrets you ought to know about your life. With sincerity in your heart, He easily reveals secrets to you. In your dreams, He will show you the operation of the spirit of Kadesh Barnea against your life.

When you begin to dream,
1. if you are seeing dead relatives,
2. if you are going back to your primary school,
3. if you are going back to the old house you once lived,
4. if you are wearing old clothes you used to wear when you were young
5. if you are going back to your birthplace
6. or, if you see yourself playing with your kindergarten playmates

This means there is something, some evil spirit that wants to return you to the beginning of the journey of life, all over again. — It is the spirit of Kadesh Barnea.

If you
1. see yourself climbing a mountain and yet not going anywhere;
2. if you find yourself in a vehicle without a driver or steering wheel;
3. if you are lost in the wilderness and your wandering only returns you to the same old spot,
4. if you find yourself in a particular place or building you really don’t know in the physical world.
5. if you experience that something good is coming your way and then you have a dream and it prevents the good coming your way
6. if you experience some over powering force always press you down or oppressing you
7. if you experience taking some exams you had already passed years ago,
8. or if you see yourself in your former primary and secondary schools

You must declare war on the powers that are hindering you.

God knows the secrets of the heart

God knows the secrets of the Heart.

One’s heart, as used in Scripture, refers to something more than the physical organ that beats, pumping blood and life-giving oxygen to every part of your body. The Bible uses the word to describe an aspect of God’s wondrous creation even more spectacular and critical to your well-being – the central part of your inner being where God desires to dwell and rule righteously.

The heart! Who knows their own heart for sure? When it comes right down to it, none of us really know our own heart as well as we think we do. The prophet Jeremiah 17:9-10, wrote,“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart; I test the mind, even to give every man according to His ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”

The heart is the source from which both affections and actions come, often overruling your mind and misdirecting your will.Until God is allowed to redeem and rule your heart,it will remain unholy and unruly.

Your heart can lead you to God or turn you from Him. God begins in your heart to accomplish His work of redeeming, and cleansing, and changing you.“And I will give them singleness of heart  and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their hearts of stone and give them tender hearts instead, so they will obey My laws and regulations. Then they will truly by My people, and I will be their God.”Ezekiel 11:19-20 .
Your heart has to be right before your relationship with God and others can be right.
Your heart’s cry must be as the Psalmist pleaded,“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”Psalm 139:23-24.

God uses ordinary circumstances to expose repressed feelings, carefully controlled reactions, buried emotions, old grudges and resentments, hurtful jealousies, suppressed anger and fears, or habitual behaviors.
Those tests in everyday life are not for God’s enlightenment, but to reveal the secrets of your heart for redemption, not destruction.God knows your heart; there are no secrets from Him hidden there.

You may try to hide things there, but will not succeed. Invite God, will test your heart so that you will know what is hidden.

God`s Words are a source of life and prosperity.

God`s Words are a source of life and prosperity.

His word can calm a storm

Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
The Holy Bible isn't something that you should just read once in your life, but something that you need to read, re-read, meditate on, speak out, listen to, and study as long as you live. The truths in the Bible become clearer as you read them again, and they work their way into your spirit, where they give life and hope, and where they build faith. When you stay in the Word of God, you will know what God’s will is and what is not in most situations.
John 15:7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it wil l be done for you." --
Meditate, in the Bible means to murmur, ponder, aloud. Read those scriptures aloud as much as possible. The Bible promises that the word of God will not go out and return unto him void. Speak his word out loud and let it get into your heart 3 ways, by sight, by ear and by mouth. You must know what you believe.
This is a generation of hustle and bustle. "Time out" for anything except sleep and medical checkups is considered idling your motor when you ought to be in high gear. Reflection and deep thought in a quiet place is a thing of the past. This idea of taking time to be holy is more often a song we sing than an accomplishment. It takes time to be holy. It takes lots of time to be truly effective for God. He daily gave his problem a second thought. It is a mistaken idea that meditation is only for those who have time for it -- daydreamers, scientists, novelists, ascetics and cloistered saints of religion. Giving life a second thought is the need of every man.
"Meditation is the skeleton key that unlocks the greatest storeroom in the house of God's provisions for the Christian."
Beware of getting alone with your own thoughts. Get alone with God's thoughts. There is danger in rummaging through waste and barren desert-thoughts that can be labeled -- daydreaming or worse. Don't meditate upon yourself but dwell upon Him -- seek God in your inner thought life. There is always danger in meditating upon problems. Develop the habit of reflection upon the Word of God and therein find the answers to your problems.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips: When I remember Thee upon my bed, and meditate on Thee in the night watches" (Psalm 63:5-6).
God inspired His Word to reveal Himself, His purposes and His plans. The Bible is a comprehensive communication from God to man. The Bible itself answers the questions it raises, which is why we say Scripture interprets Scripture. God did not prepare His Word to be confusing or misleading. He says what He means and He means what He says.
God's will is revealed in God's Word. You can plainly read a great deal about God's plans, desires, and will in the Holy Bible. What you read can change your life for good. "
2 Corinthians 1:13-For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand
When you truly delight (take great pleasure in or experience a high degree of satisfaction) in the Word, you will have a desire (a craving, a longing , a "hunger or thirst") to spend time in it and to meditate on it. Beloved, we do not naturally delight in the Holy Word for we are by nature unholy. Therefore when any man or woman begins to delight in the Word, they can know for certain that they are experiencing God's amazing grace , we see that the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to delight and the dynamic to understand God's Holy Word.
Let's get started. Since we want to make this a built-in habit of daily living, start with a moment of prayer. Ask God's help in concentration, alertness of mind and that inward sense of His abiding Presence. As a means of getting under way, here are a few suggestions that will make the following Bible verse extremely practical:
One of the most helpful approaches in meditation is to emphasize different words within the verse. As you throw them out vocally, the Holy Spirit will echo them back to your heart through your ears and mind. Read the first phrase aloud several times with striking emphasis upon the word in caps:
Put this verse from the King James Version into your own words. Say it over and over, silently and aloud, until you can communicate it back to yourself in language that has meaning. Reflect slowly. Don't be in a hurry to reword it -- rearrange the words and use your dictionary to look up words you don't understand. Perhaps you will end up with something like this:
"Up to this moment you have not been asking anything in God's authority; go ahead and ask, see if God doesn't love to answer. This is because He wants you to be full of cheerfulness."
A "verse a day" can be selected during your quiet time in the morning. To begin with, it can be done within ten minutes. Try analyzing, dissecting and chewing over such a verse during odd moments of your day -- walking to work, riding the train or bus, waiting for meals or "killing time" for that appointment. Apply it that very day. Perhaps you will have the opportunity to share it with someone else.
The crown fruit of meditation is the changed life. Without the transformed life, meditation is useless. This was the problem Jesus had with the Pharisees of His day. They knew the facts and were experts in doctrine. They were conscientious, sincere and dedicated men. But the Lord called them sons of Satan -- "Ye are of your father the devil." Why this stinging indictment? All their study of the Old Testament didn't change their lives. There was no heart application. They still oppressed the poor, defrauded the widows and pursued doubtful business practices.
Beware of meditation that ends in pious words without affecting one's practices. True meditation fires in God honoring moral actions. A changed attitude toward God and fellow man should be the result, including things like a changed work habit, a changed relationship to one's spouse or family, in short -- a changed life! Anything less means your "meditation" is little more than "pious platitudes" as they say.
Psalm 119:97 "O how I love Thy law: it is my meditation all the day".
PRAYER
If God's Word is not the desire and delight of your heart, plead with Him until He grants your request so that your soul might cultivate an appetite for the pure milk of His Word. If you pray this with clean hands and a pure heart), you can be assured God will answer it affirmatively for it is in accordance with His good and perfect will.
Will you dare to pray this prayer? Will you dare not pray this prayer

Fear the LORD and HE will make your enemies fall before you:

Jesus King of kings
Fear the LORD and HE will make your enemies fall before you:

Psalm 27:1-2 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.”

We have nothing to fear. For God will execute His plans no matter who is against you. When we trust thatGOD has our backs in all things, we know that those who come up against us will surely fall.
We can't be halfway believers.
We can't believe GOD will only take care of one problem and not the others.
We will have no fear of anything or anyone when we trust and believe in GOD.
Whom shall we fear? We shall fear Lord!

Romans 8:31 declares, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

If we are followers of Jesus Christ, He has promised to be there for us. With an all-powerful God on our side should we be afraid of political leaders? Is Jesus going to be intimidated by a political agenda? Is the one who put this earth together going to be worried about the uncertainty of the times that we live in?

Let us not allow fear to hold our families down. Focus our eyes on Jesus, for he will protect our children, our families, and our personal lives during these uncertain times.

You Need Patience to Inherit the Promise!

You Need Patience to Inherit the Promise!

Jesus praying

Hebrews 10:35-36: “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

Patience to be willing to take as much time as necessary no matter how long to achieve the objective.
The word persevere implies effort. It means to persist, to maintain purpose in spite of difficulty, to continue steadfastly in spite of whatever that may be. Perseverance is hard work.

Most people mistakenly think that simply believing the Word of God is true is enough to obtain the promised blessings, however the Bible teaches otherwise. According to the Bible; simply believing is not enough because

James 2:19. "even the devils believe and they tremble":

Scripture states that patience is needed in order to see the manifestation of the blessing. If this is true, then it explains why so many of God's people never obtain the blessings, and it also indicates to us that it is to our benefit to gain a better understanding of this passage if we are ever to walk in the manifested promises of God.

Yes, it’s hard. Yes, things are going wrong. Sometimes you’ll be tempted to give up. But don’t. Keep going. You will be rewarded. Not maybe, not hopefully, not only if things feel right or go the way you want them to. If you keep your confidence in Christ, if you persevere in what He has called you to, you will receive the promise. Period. That’s His guarantee to you.
The hard part is in the everyday of it. In the waking up, getting up, choosing to move forward when all you want to do is crawl back into the warm darkness. But remember; only those who finish attain the prize.

Quitters never win and winners never quit. It’s impossible to win a race you don’t finish. The people who win the race are just as tired as the ones who quit. The only difference between the quitter and the winner is the stopping point— quitters stop early and winners run it out. Falling down, moving slowly, getting redirected, and ending up in last place— none of that keeps you from the finish. It’s never over until you quit.

Be encouraged today. It’s hard work, it’s tiring, it’s a long journey, but God has it mapped out. He knows the end of the story. Don’t throw away your confidence over a fleeting moment of frustration. Remember, perseverance = promise. It’s finishing, not winning, that ensures the promise.

Our Heavenly Father has given us His Word, that if we will use our faith, and have the patience, perseverance, steadfast endurance, and fierce-longness that is required of us - then we WILL obtain the promised blessing of Health, healing, deliverance, provision, safety, soundness, and any other promise granted the Church in Scripture.

There is a blessing coming to many in the New Year. You’ve lived in confusion and trials all through 2012. You’ve battled giants in the land. You’ve been tossed up and down. But God sees you in the midst of the storm. He is telling you – hold on! Persevere! Don’t give up! Keep obeying, keep trusting, keep believing and you WILL receive the reward. You will receive what he has promised to you.

Salvation is an inside job:

Salvation is an inside job:

Baptism of Jesus

The Bereans "received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so" (Acts 17:10-11).
What Salvation Is
While the real truth must come from the Bible. The saving of man from the spiritual consequences of sin; especially deliverance from sin and eternal damnation ....
But why would you need to be saved from the spiritual consequences of sin? And why, if you are an immortal soul, do you need preservation from destruction? What has this to do with you?
Romans 3:23 God Almighty, who designed, created, and sustains human life—including yours, says this: "ALL have sinned, and come short of the
According to the Bible, what the "saved" receive as God's gift through Jesus Christ is eternal life. Salvation, then, actually is the receiving of something you don't now have—eternal life. And if that Bible statement is true, then our accusers are false!
His salvation—is also His own love which imparts to you His righteousness! It is no longer just you, in your own power and strength "keeping the commandments"—it is, spiritually speaking, the living Christ IN YOU, keeping His Father's Commandments—even as He kept them by this same divine love even while He was human here on earth! This is God's gift. It is the presence, conditionally, of Eternal Life.
Get it straight! You are now converted—a changed person—for God's Spirit (Ephesians 4:23) produces a renewing of your mind. Your whole concept and direction of life is changed! God's Spirit is His very life imparted to you! You are now a begotten son of God.
1. Salvation like letting someone in the door. In Revelation 3:20 Jesus said, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me."
Jesus said that salvation is like that. He is out of your life. He is not your Saviour. You have lived without Him. You have never trusted Him. Now you simply say, "Dear Jesus, come in." God says that is salvation.
2. Getting saved is like taking a drink of water. In John 4:14 Jesus said, "Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst." Revelation 22:17, "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Now it is very simple to take a drink of water. Some people get so thirsty that when they take a drink of water they go "Whoooo." Some people say, "Ahhh-hh-h." Some just swallow it, and that is it. Now who gets the most water? How it makes you feet doesn't have a thing to do with it! Jesus said getting saved is like taking a drink of water. Are you thirsty?
3. Getting saved is receiving a gift. Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Ephesians 2:8, 9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." I give a person a gift. He takes it. Is it his? Absolutely! What if he doesn't feel good? The gift Is still his. What if he doesn't shout? It is still his. What if he doesn't cry? It is still his. It is very simple to accept a gift. All you do is reach out and take it and believe it is yours.
Now salvation is that way, the Bible says. Jesus is God's "unspeakable gift." Eternal life is God's gift to man. Anybody who will say, "I am willing to receive the gift," can very simply receive the gift from God.
4. Getting saved is going through a door. In John 10:9 Jesus said, "I am the door," and in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life." Is it very complicated to go through a door? No. When I leave the service I most always go through this door. I will walk over there, turn the doorknob, walk through the door, and go down the stairs. Is that very complicated? I probably won't shout. I doubt if I'll cry or holler. I doubt if I'll laugh, but I will go through the door.
Jesus said that on one side is eternal life; on the other side is eternal death. The difference is a door. Everybody in this house this morning who realizes he is unsaved, realizes that Christ will give him eternal life, and will say, "Dear Lord, I do accept You and come through the door of Jesus to salvation"--that minute God makes you His child!
5. Salvation is compared with coming home. This is very interesting. Here is a boy in Luke 15 who decides to leave his father and go to a far country. He takes all of his goods, goes to a far country, gets in trouble, looks for a job, can't find a job, finds a job feeding the hogs out in the hogpen, and finally he starts feeding himself the husks off the corn that the swine would not eat-the cornhusks, if you please. He eats the cornhusks. Finally he says, "The servants back home have more than this. Why, the servants back home have some good bread and potatoes and meat and beans, and here I am eating the cornhusks. I will arise and go to my father." He comes back to the father, and the father receives him.
Salvation is just going home. How many of you ever go home to see your father?
6. Jesus compares salvation with accepting an invitation. Jesus told the parable of a man who "made a great supper and bade many." Jesus says, "Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
Now let me ask you, will he be any more invited either way he answers? Not a bit! The way he would do it matters not; he simply accepts the invitation.
7. He compares salvation with taking a bath. In Titus 3:5 He says, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration." In John 13 Jesus said, "You have already bathed once; now wash your feet." Salvation is compared to taking a bath. Remember. Jesus is the One Who bathes you, makes you clean.

9. Salvation is compared to putting money in the bank. 2nd Timothy 1:12b, "I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed (or deposited) unto Him against that day." You take some money and put it in the bank. Now, two fellows go to the bank and each one puts in $100.00. One says, "0 boy! 0 BOY! I saved $100.00.

We are all called to serve;

We are all called to serve;

Jesus the master serving the servant

We are called for a holy and noble purpose! You were put on earth to make a contribution. You were not created just to consume resources, to eat, breathe, and take up space. God designed us to make a difference with our life.
We were created to add to life on earth, not just take from it. God wants you to give something back. This is God's purpose for your life, and it is called your "ministry" or service.

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Eph 2:10

these good deeds are your service. Whenever you serve others in any way, you are actually serving God (Eph. 6:7).
In God's Kingdom you have a place, a purpose, a role, and a function to fulfill. This gives your life great significance and value.

It cost Jesus His own life to purchase your salvation. "In the same way, the Son of Man did not come for other people to serve him. But the Son of Man came to serve other people. The Son of Man came to give his life to save many people.
Here is the heart of our Hero given in one simple statement. We are to serve and sacrifice for others. It is our legacy. It is our life. It is our Lord's example. We were bought and brought to freedom by the ransom price he paid. We are now called to follow his example and live his life in our world.
You are called to serve God. Growing up, you may have thought that being "called" by God was something only for missionaries, pastors, nuns, and other "full-time" church workers experienced, but the Bible says every Christian is called to service
Your call to salvation included your call to service. They are the same. Regardless of your job or career, you are called to full-time Christian service. A "non-serving Christian" is a contradiction in terms.

Another term for serving God that's misunderstood by most people is the word "ministry." When most people hear "ministry" they think of pastors, priests, and professional clergy, but God says every member of His family is a minister. In the Bible, the words servant and minister are synonyms, as are service and ministry. If you are a Christian you are a minister, and when you are serving, you are ministering.

We are commanded to serve God-if we are saved. Jesus says "Your attitude must be like my own, for I, the Messiah, did not come to be served, but to serve and to give my life" (Matt. 20:28).

God wants to use you to make a difference in His world. He wants to work through you. What matters is not the duration of your life, but the donation of it. Not how long you lived, but how you lived. If you are not involved in any service or ministry, what excuse have you been using?
Have you ever wondered why God does not just immediately take us to heaven the moment we accept His grace? Why does He leave us in a fallen world? He leaves us here to fulfill His purposes. Once you are saved, God intends to use you for His goals. God has a ministry for you in His church and a mission for you in the world.
Jesus calls us all and not only a certain class of people to follow him and serve others. God can use anyone, no matter how insignificant he or she appears to be and even when you feel small and useless, you should remember that God uses ordinary people to do his extraordinary work...
When Jesus called His first disciples, He didn’t draft them, force them or ask them to volunteer, but he chose them to serve him in a special way. Most Churches lives or dies on the strength of the people who serve them. We are living in a time of pressure where most families are working outside the homes and most of them work longer hours and therefore the church attendance patterns of committed people are declining and every Minister almost everywhere are reporting less regular attendance and a reluctance of commitment in long term tasks.
God has shown you his grace (kindness) in many different ways. And you are like servants who are responsible for using God's gifts. So be good servants and use your gifts to serve each other. The person who speaks should speak words from God. The person who serves should serve with the strength that God gives

God wants to use you. Are you ready?

God wants to use you. Are you ready?

Jesus and the fisher men

It’s a profound truth to be told that no matter what situation you find yourself in, you can still be used by God. Nothing that we do, no sin that we commit can disqualify us from serving Jesus. This truth is controversial. It’s counter-cultural. And it can seem ludicrous!
God is searching the world right now looking for willing vessels that will carry forth his word. When you stop and think about the time when the word searched out and found you---the very day you were transformed out of darkness and into God's marvelous light! What a feeling!
Each of us has a calling. Callings are not reserved for those who have it all together, or for those who seem to be the Christian elite, or even for those that some tout to be the “heroes” of the Bible. No. God has a call on each of our lives. The question is: Will you offer yourself up to be used?
Do you believe that Jesus is simply waiting for you to be willing to be used?I don't care who you are, how much education you have, how knowledable of the Bible you are, how shy you can be or how unprepared you feel- God can and will use you to further His kingdom. God isn't looking for super spiritual Christians or those who seem to have it all together, He wants to use you!
Let's be his hands and his feet in this world and spread the good news of the gospel!God shows His great power by using a unwilling people to willinging complete His great will, to bring His light to the nations
We didn't become Christians in order to just sit on the bench and be a cheerleader, God wants every one of us in the game. If you are listening to this right now, I can guarentee that it is true for you because if God didn't have something for you to do, you would already be in heaven.
There is no question of our having sufficient power in ourselves: we cannot claim anything as our own. The power we have comes from God" Corinthians 3:5
And if you were to talk to most Christians out there who are serving God, I bet they would tell you the same thing: that on their own they are inadequate to serve God but as soon as they stepped out and started serving those inadequacies no long mattered because it was then that God stepped in and gave them more strength than they needed to cover for their weaknesses.
As God told Paul and says to each and every one of us "My gracious favor is all you need. My power works best in your weakness."
Doesn't it just burn within you, the desire to share the gospel of Jesus Christ
A desire to tell anyone with a heart to hear that there is a God that saves!
A God that delivers!
A God that heals!
The same God, that changed you completely and set you in green pastures feasting on the true word, wants to use you.
Jesus said, "Freely ye have received, freely give".
So no matter where you are today, let me encourage you to not be afraid to let God use you. There is nothing that serves as a better faith builder than to allow God to move through you and that is the only way the world will come to know Him.
"David was the youngest son of a shepherd, but he became the greatest king of Israel. Paul ardently persecuted the early church, but he became the one who would spread the Gospel to the Gentiles. Mary was an ordinary teenage girl who became the mother of the Messiah. There are times in our lives when things seem almost hopeless' but God wants to use us all for great purposes. He does not look at our current condition, but at what we have the potential to become. We should view others and ourselves in the same way...We should try to view all things with the faith and hope that God can and will transform us into the people He wants us to be.Here is a list of several Biblical personalities used by God.
NOAH was a drunk....ABRAHAM was too old...ISAAC was a daydreamer....JACOB was a liar....
LEAH was ugly....JOSEPH was abused....MOSES couldn't talk....GIDEON was afraid....SAMSON had long hair and was a womanizer....RAHAB was a prostitute...JEREMIAH and TIMOTHY were too young....DAVID had an affair and was a murderer....ELIJAH was suicidal...ISAIAH preached naked....JONAH ran away from God....NAOMI was a widow....-JOB went bankrupt....JOHN the Baptist ate bugs....PETER denied Christ....THE DISCIPLES fell asleep while praying....MARTHA worried about everything...MARY MAGDALENE was demon possessed....The SAMARITAN WOMAN was divorced... more than once!!....ZACCHEUS was too small....PAUL was too religious....TIMOTHY had an ulcer....and LAZARUS WAS DEAD!!!!
Yet God used them all!!! Even the dead Lazarus! If others look at us like worthless, then God sees our potential! So don't put yourself under stress. God wants to get the best out of you - after all it was Him who, at some point, has put it there! If you know what sort of problem it is that you cannot correctly deal with, then ask God to help you with it. If you don't know what it is, then ask God to make you realize it. Also then He will help you overcome it, if you allow Him to

Patiently Waiting With Endurance

Patiently Waiting With Endurance

                                                                            Patiently

Isaiah 40:30,31 “Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.”
We are also told that we need to endure if we are to receive the promises of God; “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. We are also told that it is with endurance that we are to run our race. We are reminded of the patience of Job and the rewards that followed.
The patience of a Christian, however, is different from the patience of others: it is not as the world gives, but as the Lord gives. How is it different?
Patience is “waiting for the Lord.” By trusting the Lord, putting the future in his hands, expecting and anticipating God's tomorrow and continuing faithful, we continue in our commitment to Christ. And, we grow ever stronger.
First, it is not "waiting something out," but "waiting for the Lord." We live with a wonderful anticipation of seeing Him and being exalted by Him and sharing His glory (1 John 3:1-3). Neither is the motive of our waiting bound to some standard of earthly success. Its purpose is not earthly success, but to cause us to be faithful and pleasing to God rather than returning to our idols.
It is easy to become frustrated when things “don't go our way.” People sometimes allow themselves to become cynical about life and its prospects, but not people with living faith. To turn from the Lord during such times is a mistake. To turn to Him is far better.
We recall how Israel's hardships were multiplied when they complained in the wilderness and rebelled.
God never calls us to be passive. Nor can we say we are waiting on the Lord while we are still doing our own thing. Sometimes God has to remove us from a situation, change our surroundings, put us in a place dreadfully alone where we can do nothing but fearfully watch all that surrounds us. The last thing we want is to be pushed out of the nest and be thrown in that mess!

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Jesus
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 Chronicles 28:9. “… the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts .
The heart is what you are, in the secrecy of your thought and feeling, when nobody knows but God. And what you are at the invisible root matters as much to God as what your are at the visible branch.
A pure heart is a heart that has nothing to do with falsehood. It is painstakingly truthful and free from deceitfulness. Deceit is what you do when you will two things, not one thing. You will to do one thing and you will that people think you are doing another. You will to feel one thing and you will that people think you are feeling another. That is impurity of heart.
1 Samuel 16:7 "Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart"
From the heart are all the issues of life. So the heart is utterly crucial to Jesus. What we are in the deep, private recesses of our lives is what he cares about most. Jesus did not come into the world simply because we have some bad habits that need to be broken. He came into the world because we have hearts that need to be purified.
To have a pure heart means to have a heart that is committed to living a life that is totally pleasing to God, because Having purified our souls and hearts, refraining from evil desires, and wanting only to give love and do good things, we are ready to be very close friends with God.
It also means that those who have pure hearts (virtuous feelings and intentions coupled with childlike faith) will perceive God's presence and influence over everything they see in this life ... God is everywhere for the pure in heart, and, though still alive, they are already in heaven
If we see God, that will open up the treasure trove of all the blessings, not only for eternity, but also for life here and now.
And the key to open that treasure trove is a pure heart!
Psalm 24:3-4.Who shall ascend the hill of the Lord? And who shall stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, which does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully.
So, to have a pure heart is to be Having a pure heart means living by the rules of God that bring internal, moral purity. God is a holy God, and He expects His people to live life according to the standard He has set for them.
Purity of heart is no deception, no double-mindedness, and no divided allegiance.

Carol King Amen, amen amen! The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure,

It is unloving to play the "fault-finder" in someone's life

It is unloving to play the "fault-finder" in someone's life

1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

None of us has the ability to see into the heart of another person in the way God does. To attempt to read a person's true motives is a very risky business, and for this reason Jesus warned us not to judge, unless we are willing to be judged by God as strictly as we judge others.

Judge not

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal.
John3:16

What's does this verse mean to you?
What Does it Mean to "Believe"?

You might be thinking, I believe in God. I believe that Jesus lived about 2,000 years ago on this earth. I believe that Jesus was a good man, a miracle worker, and a great prophet. In James 2:19, it says even the demons believe in God and tremble!
We see from this scripture that demons believe in God, they believe that God exist, and they have a fearful respect for God.
Numerous people place believe in their goodness, their good works, their contributions to society.
The only problem with approaching God through good works, is that you must be 100% perfect which is impossible, in fact Jesus used the analogy "its as hard as a camel going through a needles eye".
God is simply asking you to change your mind. God is not asking you to grovel, plead, beg, or cringe to him. He just wants you to truly change your mind to bring about change in your direction. If you really see your life from God's perspective, you will change your life.

Do You Want the Privilege?

Jesus is saying if you believe in Him, you will be rescued from God's judgment on sin. The word saved  means to be rescued from danger or destruction. Salvation refers to Jesus' work to rescue mankind from sin, eternal death, and hell.

Does Hell Really Exist?

Jesus said that hell was prepared for the "devil and his angels" Jesus also said the wicked would be cast into hell and the Lake of Fire with the devil and his angels ,He describes the Lake of Fire as a place "burning with and those cast in the Lake of Fire would "be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Jesus said that hell was a place of "everlasting punishment" and "everlasting life. Jesus instructs humans to do what ever it takes to avoid hell.

If your on these category"the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
What is Sin?
any people have questions about sin. What is sin?
we learn that we earn a paycheck for sin, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." The consequences of sin is eternal death. The punishment that we have earned for our sins is death. Not just physical death, but eternal death!.Therefore to avoid hell you need to give your life to the gift of salvation by making this simple confession.

Heavenly Father,

I know that I have sinned and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry. I want to turn away from my past sinful life. Please forgive me. I want to receive all that Jesus Christ has provided for me as my Savior. Your Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" .
I am calling on You, Lord Jesus to be saved from my sins. I believe and confess that You, Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins, was buried, and rose from the dead on the third day according to the scriptures .I pray and ask You, Jesus Christ to come into my heart and be Lord over my life.
Thank-You that I am born again by Your Spirit and I can now see and enter the Kingdom of God. Thank-You for giving me eternal life . I receive my salvation and all of its benefits right now. Lord, Thank-You for saving me this day. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen!

Congratulations, If you just prayed this prayer to God and meant what you said to God. You are NOW a new creation in Christ Jesus , Your old life is gone and a new life has begun for you! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.

Your next step is to ask God to direct you to the group of fellow believers (like yourself) that you will be connected with to fulfill God's plan for your life. It is very important for you to allow God to direct you. If you ask God he will definitely answer you.

Gods power in us

GOD`S POWER IS MADE PERFECT IN YOUR TIMES OF WEAKNESS.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

God’s Word says your weaknesses, doubts, and insecurities are no surprise to God. You may try to hide them from others, but you can’t hide them from the one who created you.
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong (2 Corinthians 12:9 – 12:10 ESV
It’s only through weakness that many of us can see our true need for God. God's power continues to be made perfect in weakness
Jesus Christ who was "crucified in weakness" (2 Corinthians 13:4) and in that weakness he defeated all the powers of evil, cruelty and cynicism that led the creation to tear itself away from God and wake up in chaos.
The power lies always with God and because in our weakness we are the place where God's saving power is made fully present we are said to be strong. But we are never said to be able. We hear, "Therefore he is able to save to the uttermost those that come to God by him" Always he and never we.
The truth is, God created you with weaknesses. And, since he’s God, he couldn’t have made a mistake. Is it possible he created you with weaknesses in order to keep you on your knees before him? With you dependent upon him, you’re able to do all things through him who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13–14).
This also means God won’t let you use weaknesses as an excuse for not doing what he’s asking you to do. If God is calling you to a monumental task, then he’ll give you everything you need to complete the task, starting with the Holy Spirit working within you.

God`s Promises

What God promises God provides.
Luke 12:31 . "But seek His kingdom, and these things will be provided for you.
We are all accustomed to promises. We are also accustomed to seeing them made and broken. Anyone who has lived for a number of years would certainly never lay claim to having kept every promise made. There are many reasons why this is true. Sometimes we forget, sometimes we are negligent, and sometimes it may be due to circumstances beyond our control.
God doesn’t withhold any good thing from those who live righteously.” When we place our trust fully in the Lord, He provides the very best for us.
• He has promised to supply every need we have. Philippians 4:19
• God has promised that His grace is sufficient for us. II Corinthians 12:9
• God has promised that His children will not be overtaken with temptation. I Corinthians 10:13.
• God has promised us victory over death. Acts 2:32.
• God has promised that all things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully Romans 8:28.
• God has promised that those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved. Mark 16:16
• God has Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy with his work---this is a gift of God." Ecc 5:19.
Jesus told His disciples not to worry about food or clothing (Matt. 6:25-26). Since the Father watches over even the birds of the air, we can certainly count on Him to take care of us.
If you are a follower of Jesus, you have a heavenly Father who is committed to meeting your needs. But what should you do when it seems God isn’t working on your behalf? Fall on your knees before Him and pray, “Lord, show me where I am going wrong, or give me the patience to wait on You if it’s not yet time.
Even when the Father seems far away, He never stops working in your life. God will be faithful to meet your needs at just the right time and in His perfect way. He is able to do “far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think” (Eph. 3:20). The Lord delights in giving you His very best. Simply obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.
When you pursue Jesus and His righteousness given to you as a gift, everything you need will be added to you.
But what is the kingdom of God? Romans 14:17 tells us that it is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. And the kingdom of God dwells within you because the Holy Spirit indwells you. So the kingdom of God is His righteousness, peace and joy in you.

Blood of Jesus

Todays message from the LORD is the powers of the BLOOD OF JESUS

.........................................................................1. It remits sins.
2. It gives life to those who consume it .
3. It causes us to dwell in Christ and He in us .
4. It is the means by which Jesus purchased the church .
5. It is the means by which Jesus becomes our atonement through faith .
6. It justifies us and saves us from wrath .
7. It redeems us .
8. It brings those who were far away from God near to Him .
9. It grants us the forgiveness of sins .
10. It brings peace and reconciliation to God .
11. It has obtained eternal redemption for us .
12. It cleanses our conscience from dead works to serve the living God .
13. It is the means by which we enterthe most holy place with boldness .
14. It speaks a better word than the blood of Abel .
15. It sanctifies us .
16. It makes us complete for every good work .
17. It cleanses us from all sin .
18. It bears witness in the earth alongwith the Spirit and the water .
19. It is the means by which Jesus washes us .
20. It is the means by which we overcome the accuser of the brethren.

Pray this prayer to claim the benefits of the Blood of Jesus.

Rev. 12:11: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of their testimony; as a weapon.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I am a beloved child of God. I believe in God, I believe in God, I believe in Jesus Christ and I believe in the blessed Holy Spirit Who is swelling in the inside of me. I believe in the unshakeable and eternal power in the Word of God. I believe that life and death are in my tongue.I believe that as I make this confession unto life with the power in my tongue, according to the Words which the lord has this day putin my mouth, I shall prosper.
It is written that Jesus Christ offered His blood as a drink, and His flesh as bread that whosoever drinks and eats it shall not die forever. Now, with strong faith in my heart I hold in my hand a cup containing the blood of the Lamb of God and I drink it, that I may have life eternal.
I receive unto myself the virtues, strength, power, night and anointing in the blood. And I say, let the blood quicken all that is dead within me. Let all sucked sapped and paralyzed spiritual milk and strength of my life be resurrected by the blood. Let the blood re-energize, revitalize, reactivate and revive all dead potentials and spirituals gifts within me.
Let the blood flush out of me all inherited of self-acquired evil deposits in my system. Let it purify my blood system. Let it make old things pass away in my life and transform everything to become new. Let the power inthe blood clean my spiritual vision and wash my spiritual pipe that I may be receiving of the Lord unhindered.
I eat with the heart of faith the flesh of Jesus. For it is written, His flesh is bread indeed. I eat it now so that I can also eat with Him in His glory. I eat the flesh of Jesus to receive new spiritual strength and vigor, strength and vigor to put under subjection all works of the flesh, strength and vigor to paralyze the desires of my flesh, strength and vigor to paralyze the power my flesh and make it obedient to the laws of the Lord.
As I eat and drink the flesh and blood of my Lord Jesus Christ, I renew my covenant with Him and I receive the life therein; for it is written, life is the blood. Thus I possess the life and the spirit of Christ I me. Amen.

A Warfare Prayer Before Starting Your Day

A Warfare Prayer Before Starting Your Day
Say this prayer at the start of each day and watch the changes that will come into your life.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before You. I cover myseIf with the blood of Jesus Christ and claim the protection of the Blood for my family, my finances, my home, my spirit and my soul and body. I surrender myself completely in every area of my life to You.

I take a stand against all the workings of the Devil that would try and hinder me and my family from best serving You. I address myself only to the true and living God who has power and control over everything. Satan I command you and all of your demon forces of darkness in the name of Jesus Christ to leave my presence. I bring the blood of Jesus Christ between the Devil and my family, my home, my finances, my spirit, my soul and body. I declare, therefore, that Satan and his wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, in my own life today, I destroy and tear down ,all strongholds of Satan and smash the plans of Satan that have been formed against me and my family. I tear down the strongholds of the devil against my mind and I surrender my mind to your blessed Holy Spirit.

I affirm heavenly Father that you have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind. Therefore, I resist the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus the Son of the living God and I refuse to doubt, refuse to worry, because I have authtority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt me. I claim complete and absolute victory over the force of darkness in the name of Jesus, and bind the Devil and command him to loose my peace, joy, prosperity, and every member of my family for the glory of God and by faith I call it done. I break and smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my emotions today and give my emotions to you, Lord Jesus, realizing that I am the temple of the Holy Spirit.

Again, I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that the Holy Ghost would bring all the work of the crucifixion, resurrection and all the work of the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ into my life today. I surrender my life and possessions to you. I refuse to fear, worry or to be discouraged in the name of Jesus. I will not hate, envy or show any type of bitterness toward my brothers, sisters, or my enemies, but will love them with the love of God in my heart by the Holy Ghost.

Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please you and give me the strength, grace and wisdom to remove any sin or weight that would that would give the devil a foothold against me. I claim in every way the victory of the cross over all satanic forces in my life. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving and I welcome the ministry of the Holy Ghost. Amen.

The power of a testimony

Your testimony is about what you have experienced – what you have seen and heard. A real Christian can talk about their experiences with God through Jesus Christ. We as Christians are called to a relationship of real communication with the Son of God. God comes to live inside us. Things change. God deals with every person in a different way.

The more Christians that come forward and talk about how God has intervened in their life, the more people will begin to realise that God is for real, miracles do happen, and prayer works.

This will inspire others to seek God and turn from their sins so that they too can know the peace and satisfaction that comes to a person who truly gives their life over to God.

Acts 4:33

And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.

Jesus instructed those who had been touched by God to share.

Testimonies are the evidence of the supernatural power of God lived out loud. Formed out of the difficult chapters in our lives, it is there that His strength is made perfect in us. Our testimony becomes a declaration of praise to our God and a portrait of our deliverance. Rev. 12:10-11 reveals that testimonies are a powerful weapon in overcoming the accuser as they proclaim the Gospel message, and bear witness to Jesus' shed blood.

As often said, the best defense is a good offense. And instead of trying to just hold our ground as Christians, we should gain ground. We should move forward. We should tell others about Christ.

When you identify yourself as a Christian that is a good way to make yourself accountable, even to nonbelievers. By saying in your workplace (without being obnoxious), "I am a Christian," by saying to members of your family or in your neighborhood or among your friends, "I am a follower of Jesus," you are putting that stake in the
ground, and they will be watching you and evaluating you.

And frankly, they will be evaluating God, too. They are will be thinking, so that is how a Christian acts. That is how a Christian treats his wife. That is how a Christian treats her husband. I get it.

That is how a Christian raises their child. That is how a Christian does thus and so. . . . They will be watching you. And nothing is worse than getting your behavior corrected by a nonbeliever, especially when they are right.

When a believer is walking in fellowship with God, he or she will want to tell others about Christ.
Everyone has a testimony, which simply is their story. You don't have to go through adversity to have a testimony. What would people say about you? You have a testimony. The question is whether it is a good one or a poor one.

If God has worked powerfully in your life, please share it so others can benefit. It will remind you of how God has worked and it will encourage others to believe in God. It may be the means by which another precious person comes to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus. So do it. Begin to write down your story.

Will you pray  that:

• God will use testimonies of believers everywhere to help people know Jesus

• You will allow God's love to cross human boundaries

• God will help you prepare your testimony, making it simple and clear

• God will help you lead others to recognize and repent of their sins

• God will use your testimony to bring others to put their faith in the Lord
