Hiding your light

Hiding your light

"What I tell you in the dark, speak it in the light;and what ever you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops"Matthew 10:26."Therefore who ever confesses Me before men I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven" .Mathew 10:32-33.

If you deny Jesus by hiding your light and not witnessing to others when prompted by the Holy Spirit because of embarrassment and confrontation, fear of being mocked, judged, ridculed, slandered,or critised, the word says that Jesus will deny you before the God.Many people wonder why they do not have a close relationship with Father God and are blocked from receiving from Him.Could this be the reason why?. If you denied Jesus at one time repent by speaking this words..

Pray

Dear God in Jesus name I repent on behalf of myself,my family and my ancestors for hiding my light.I repent that even though we knew you,we denied you before men.I ask that Your light will shine in me greater than before and that people will see that light and I can become a great witness for you.I command all shame, fear, fear of rejection, fear of confrontation, fear of slander and ridicule and all other demons associated with hiding my light to leave me right now and go to the abyss in the name of Jesus Christ Son of the living God

Prosperity is impossible without a seed.

Prosperity is impossible without a seed.

In Zechariah 8:12 the bible says ‘For the seed shall be prosperous; the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.

The Seed means many things here:
From a prosperity point of view it represents sowing and reaping physically and seeing crops grow. Fertility is implied and you can believe God for children too, in the spiritual sense – disciples. The seed, ground, vine and heavenly dew are all ingredients for prosperity on an agricultural level.
Increase answers to Inputs. If you want to prosper financially, you must sow financially. If you want people to love you, love them; for life is an echo, what you put in is what you will harvest.
In Galatians 6:7, the bible says life is made in a way that what you sow is what you reap ‘Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap’ I hope God will grant you an understanding of that beautiful line of his word.

If you are friendly, people will be friendly towards you; if you love others, others are bound to love you. If you are kind hearted, people will be kind hearted towards you. Life is made in a way that everyman receives his echo as reward. The question you will ask yourself today is why has God spared your life? Why has God kept you alive? What were you made to accomplish?
God blesses you for His kingdom sake, for the sake of your family members and for the sake of your village; but so many of us are blind to it; so many of us are so selfish. All we want is how to gather more. When you Get what you Can; and Can what you Get; and Sit on the Can; and Guard the Can; you run into a life of struggling, a life of poverty, a life of defeat. Men and brethren, it is not where you are that determines who you are. It is who you are that determines where you are. Exodus 3:21-22
Anybody who wants to command the wealth of God must first obey the commandment of God. We are not of our own; we have been called to serve God. Exodus 25: 2-8. The word ‘take’ means from what God has given you already, take from it.

In short, God testifies that the remnant of his people should abound in all good things, for the heaven would not withhold from them its rain, nor the earth shut up its bowels.

But God ever recalls his people to himself, that they may depend on his blessing; for it would be a cold doctrine were we not persuaded of this -- that the earth is not otherwise fruitful than as God gives it the power of generating and of bringing forth. We ought therefore ever to regard the blessing of God, and to ask of him to supply us with food, and to pray him every day, as we are taught, to give us our daily bread. But few do this from the heart, and hardly one in a hundred so turns his thoughts to God's hand as firmly to believe that he daily receives from him his daily food.

Patience

Patience

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me ,and he turned to me and heard my cry.He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire.He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.
Psalms 40: 1-2

Let God meet you where you are in your pit. Remember the more you fight and the more you attempt to do it on your own, the more damaged you will find yourself. Wait patiently and allow him to come in from a different angle and pull you out with as little damage as possible.

Lets pray....

I am so thankful for where the Lord has brought me from. It was Him who reached down into the pit of sin I had made for myself; it was Him who opened His arms and embraced me with His love even though I turned my back on Him time after time and it was Him who set my feet upon the rock and put a new song in my mouth full of thanksgiving and praise. He reached down, pulled me out of that miry clay and saved my weary soul and I want to say thank you Lord! Amen

NASA top scientist researchers discovers the existence of God.

According to an official press release two giant stone slabs the size of small elephants were located deep inside a cavern abutting Aeolis Mons, a large mountain.
Upon one tablet is a copy of the Ten Commandments and the text of John 3:16 written in 12 languages - including English, Spanish, Chinese, Basque and Hebrew. On the other tablet is a simple message in English reading "I am real."

"This is amazing," says Syms Covington, an Australian researcher working for NASA's Mars Exploration Program. "We went into the cave looking for water, and we found proof of God's existence instead.
"I mean how else did those tablets get there? I can tell you one thing: there's not a single atheist inside NASA's control room now. What we saw was jaw-dropping."
Genesis 1:1
NASA's Curiosity rover arrived on Mars in August of last year with a mission to explore the Martian climate and geology for signs for habitability.

However the tablets, both of which are signed "Peace and Love - Yahweh," represent the rover's most significant find to date, and is perhaps the most important scientific event in history.
"When people find out about this, they will demand change in our society," explains a political scientist at Georgetown University."Democracy will have to give way to theocracy. We're gonna have to build more churches and reintroduce prayer into schools. Abortion is defiantly going to be illegal within a few months."

Despite its potential significance, "But God is real. We have proof. And everyone deserves to hear the truth.

Great Grace

Great Grace

Acts 4:33With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all.

There will be a great grace released to witness of the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ.
Many times we place a high emphasis on our faith, and what we can receive, but your grace and your faith is all about Jesus! Jesus saves! Jesus heals! Jesus delivers! Jesus brings promotion! .

The measure of our obedience both individually and corporately determines His great grace and His great power coming upon us! .

You may feel like you don't deserve it,that your sins have pulled you down too far to receive God's wonderful gift of grace . But that's exactly why God sent Jesus to earth--not to condemn you for your sins, but to fre you from them, inviting you to live with Him forever.

The Grace Prayer 2 Corinthians 13 -"May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Healing Power in the name of Jesus

Healing Power in the name of Jesus

Isaiah 53:5
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

All healing comes from God whether it comes supernaturally or through a physician. He is still the source of our healing. It's not by chance, but because we are children of the living God, we have the right to have good heath. Jesus healed everyone that came to Him when He was here on earth.

Out of 35 recorded miracles of Jesus in the gospels, 26 of them involve some form of healing (including raising from the dead and deliverance from evil spirits). At least half involved some form of physical healing. Clearly, Jesus regarded healing to be fundamental to people's needs, and He still does.

Find healing scriptures, healing prayers and healing declarations you can pray and declare over yourself and/or others to receive healing from the Lord. I believe in the power of the spoken word. Say these scriptures, prayers and declarations out loud. Pray them daily in faith and believe that Jesus Christ, our healer, WILL HEAL YOU!

Healing scriptures:Exodus 15:26,Exodus 23:25,Deuteronomy 7:15,Psalm 107:20,Matthew 8:2-3,Matthew 8:17,Luke 4:40,

Command Sickness out of your life:
Father, in Isaiah 53 You said that on the cross Jesus took our infirmities and carried our sorrows. Your Word says that by His wounds we are healed. I am claiming that healing right now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and I thank you that my body is healed. Amen.

Heavenly Father, I ask that by Your power, touch my body and heal me from all forms of sickness and disease. Heal my organs and every tissue in my body so that my body can function in the perfection to which You created it to function. Thank you, Father, and may I bless you and serve you the rest of my life with my renewed health, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Our need to Fast:

Our need to Fast:

When we feel hungry or weak or tempted, all of heaven is concerned with our concerns. And heaven attends to us. God’s angels and best of all, God’s Son, offer us strength when we are weak and perseverance when we are tired. And so, as you fast, rejoice that all of heaven watches. And rejoice that all of heaven cares. But most of all, rejoice that the God of heaven loves you.

Combining fasting with prayer can result in spiritual atomic bomb that pulls down spiritual strongholds and release the power of God in your life. Throughout the Old and New Testament and during the last 2000 years fasting was a primary means of humbling oneself before God. Isaiah 58:5, the prophet describes fasting as a 'day to afflict his soul' Psalm 69:10 David says " c
hasten " his soul with fasting. Humility is attitude of the heart Psalms, 51:17. " A broken and contrite heart--these , O God, you will not despise " . God will hear us and respond to our cry when we come before him in humility and brokenness--acknowledging and repenting of our sins , and asking Him to cleanse by the blood of Jesus and to fill us with His Holy Spirit. Fasting brings power, Our Great Lord Jesus set the ministry example by fasting for 40 days after His baptism after which He was able to conquer the world . Matthew 6:2,5,16 says a true believer will give to the needy, pray and fast. Fasting also restores, revives our souls by releasing the Holy Spirit to do the special work of taking us into deeper life in Christ and giving us greater awareness of God's reality and presence in our lives.

Renews spiritual Vision and Faith. It Inspires determination to follow God's revealed plan for our life.

HOSANA HOSANA

HOSANA HOSANA

Jesus' entry into Jerusalem is very dramatic. By openly entering the city where he is a marked man he takes the first step toward the final confrontation.
They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, 'Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the King of Israel!'" (John 12:13).
Jesus made a bold entrance into Jerusalem. This step was taken d
eliberately, with every consideration for the consequences. Prior to this moment, Jesus had refused to allow any public acknowledgement as his being the Messiah and thus avoided intensifying any conflict with the Jewish religious authorities. But, the time was at hand and his opponents fully understood the strong messianic implications of the manner of his entry into Jerusalem. His riding upon a colt, the garments and palm branches in his path and the shouts of the Passover pilgrims all pointed to Jesus as the Messiah. As Jesus road up the steep path from Bethphage over the Mount of Olives, a very large crowd made up of his Galilean followers, those who had witnessed the raising of Lazarus from the dead, and even some Judean supporters, spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road," The crowd shouted "Hosanna!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Blessed is the King of Israel" (Matthew 21:6-9).
The custom of spreading one's outer garments in the path was reserved for royalty. By shouting "Hosanna" [from Hebrew yasha ("save") + na ("now" or "please") or "save now"], the crowd was pleading for Jesus to save them from Roman oppression and domination;

Present Suffering Weighed with Future Glory"

Jesus

Present Suffering Weighed with Future Glory"

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." Romans 8:18
There is no sharing in Christ’s glory unless there is sharing in His suffering. However, at the same time we must keep clearly in mind we do not contribute to the saving work of Christ Jesus such as the expiati
on, propitiation, reconciliation, and redemption. Only the sinless Substitute could ever accomplish such efficacy. Christ alone redeemed us by His blood. We should also remember the only suffering that fulfills the condition is, "suffering with Christ.” Only those who share in Christ's sufferings now will share in His glory hereafter. In order to share in that glory we must share in His sufferings here and now.Suffering is used of God to purify the believer. Some suffering comes to us from the hand of a loving heavenly Father to produce holiness and spiritual growth in us. God uses suffering to perfect us in the likeness of Christ. God purifies us until He can see the face of Jesus Christ in our lives.Oh, what are the pangs of present separation, in comparison with the joy of future reunion? What the pinchings of poverty now, with the untold riches then? What the suffering, and gloom, and contempt of the present time, with the glory that is to be revealed in us? We can go no further. Tell us, you spirits of just men made perfect, if it be lawful, if it be possible- what the glory that awaits us is! Tell us what it is to be an unclothed spirit- to dwell in the bosom of Jesus to see God- to be perfectly holy- to be supremely happy! Wait, my soul! before long it will be all revealed!
Sufferings are the fingers of God to mold you to His image.
Do you believe this? Do you compromise your faith before the world? Do you try to avoid suffering for Christ? There is one word: Repent!
Do you, in the midst of your sufferings, become bitter and resentful and do you tell God that He made a mistake? There is one word: Repent!
By faith, I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory. How do I know? There is, therefore, now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus. In Christ we are more than conquerors. In Christ, God says, I have loved you from everlasting. I have given My Son. I have made you rich. Now, God says, I swear, I will glorify you in Christ through all things and one day you shall be where I am and you shall see My glory shining through you. And you will be satisfied. Come, Lord Jesus

April Month Blessings

April

There will be showers of blessings over my life this In this month of April, the sun shall not smite me by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve me from all evil: he shall preserve my soul.

In this month of April the Lord shall preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

All spiritual wickedness that tries to come against me this month shall be uprooted , in the name of Jesus.

In this month of April,I refuse to be in the right place at the wrong time, in the name of Jesus.

Dear Lord, I pray in this new month of April that I will yield my spirit completely to You, that You may use me as You please. I pray that You will provide me opportunities to show people how much You mean to me. Give me discretion to know what to say and how to say it. Make me bold enough, that I may proclaim salvation cheerfully and joyfully. I pray that the seeds You allow me to plant this month will grow and mature. I pray that You, Father, will water the seeds that You allow me to plant this month. I am forever grateful for the cross; may I proclaim it in a contagious way this month.

In Jesus name I have prayed Amen.

God's Love Letter to YOU

God's Love Letter to YOU

Scripture: "Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of My hands." Isaiah 49:16

Love Letter

Dear Child of Mine,

I saw you before you were born, and I destined you for a great purpose (Jeremiah 1:5). While your mom was pregnant with you, I personally designed you with incredible detail and precision (Psalm 139:13,14). From the get-go, I planned so many amazing things for you, you could never even count them if you tried (Psalm 40:5).

But I knew in advance that you would go astray and forget me, so I asked My perfect Son Jesus to take your punishment Himself (Isaiah 53:5). He was willing to be humiliated and murdered so that you could be eternally healed (Isaiah 53:5). He loved you so much that He came down to earth to show you what I'm really like (John 14:7).

When you first believed in Me, I immediately accepted you into My own family (John 1:12). I forgave all your sins through My Son Jesus (1 John 2:12). And now Jesus is in Heaven with Me, preparing a place for you (John 14:2). In fact, I am living inside of you because You believe in My Son (I John 4:15).

I am forever committed to you; there is no circumstance under which I will leave you or take my love away from you (Hebrews 13:5; Romans 8:38). Even when you go through the hardest trials, I will be with you and carry you through them (Isaiah 43:2). In fact, I will cause EVERYTHING to work together for your good, because you have loved me back and I have a great purpose for you (Romans 8:28).

Is there anything you need right now? Ask Me. I am your Good Father and I won't give you something bad in return (Matthew 7:11). Actually, I have My own Spirit readily available to you to help you in your weakest hour (Romans 8:26). I know you get tempted to lose faith, but even when you do, I will remain faithful to you (2 Timothy 2:13). I want you to ask Me for great things, because I want to answer you (John 16:23). Take a look up at the heavens; My love for you goes even higher than that (Psalm 108:4). Don't lose heart: I want you to know that I am coming back for you (Revelation 22:12).

And just remember: I AM LOVE (1 John 4:16). I am always patient, always kind. I'm never envious, proud or boastful. I'm not rude, and I only want the best for you. I don't get easily irritated with you or hold a grudge toward you. I am sad when you are hurt or wronged, but love when the truth prevails in your life. I will never stop being patient with you, never lose hope or give up on you. I WILL NEVER QUIT ON YOU (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

My love for you is everlasting (Jeremiah 31:3).

Respond to God

When someone tells another person they love them, they love to hear it back in return. Will you tell God how much you love and trust Him? He longs for a beautiful and committed relationship with you for the rest of your life, until you meet Him in Heaven

Grace and Peace

Grace and Peace:

Grace is God’s unmerited/demerited favor (Ephesians 2:1-9; cf. Luke 18:10-14).

Many of the “righteous” Jews of Jesus’ day could not come to grips with Jesus’ message of grace (Luke 18:10-14).
The unbelieving Jews in Paul’s day (and even Christians) had a hard time coming to grips with the implications of God’s grace.

PEACE

Peace is the restoration of a broken or disrupted relationship. The peace of the Gospel is our being reconciled to God through the cross of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:19-20; Romans 5:1,10).
These are the twelve marks of a person who has received the Grace and peace through Jesus Christ.

1. Has an undiluted devotion to Jesus
2. Pursues a biblically informed view of the world
3. Is intentional and disciplined in seeking God’s direction in life
4. Worships, and has a spirit of continuous repentance
5. Builds healthy, reciprocal human relationships
6. Knows how to engage the larger world where faith is not necessarily understood
7. Is aware of personal “call” and unique competencies
8. Is merciful and generous
9. Appreciates that suffering is part of faithfulness to Jesus
10. Is eager and ready to express the content of his faith
11. Overflows with thankfulness
12. Has a passion for reconciliation

If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.
In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him.
There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:15-18)

Healing prayer

If you desire to pray for the power to
receive healing or if you just want to
release your faith for health and wholeness
You can receive right now
Jesus is where you are right this moment

Jesus is the healer;
Your part is to say and do.
So you say these things out loud.

You say;
Jesus is my healer
He bore my sicknesses and my diseases and pain
I expect to receive now.
Pray this prayer in faith and mean it with your whole heart
Accept it and believe it!

Father, the word of God, that I have heard and confess
is the power of God unto my salvation
I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord
over my life, spirit, soul and body
I receive the power of God to make me whole,
sound, deliver, saved and healed now
I act on the word of God and receive His power

Sickness, disease and pain
I resist you in the name of Jesus
You are not the will of God
I enforce the word of God on you
I will not tolerate you in my life
Leave my presence,
I will never allow you back
I have been healed and made sound
Jesus made me whole
My days of sickness and disease are over

I am the saved, I am the healed and the power of
sickness has been forever broken over my life
Jesus bore my sickness
Jesus bore my weakness
Jesus bore my pain and I am free
No sickness, no sin, no fear, no evil addiction
shall lord it over me any longer
I have been redeemed from the curse
and I receive the blessing
I proclaim my freedom in Jesus name

The gospel is the power of God to me, unto my salvation
I receive the gospel, I act on the gospel and I am
made whole in the name of the lord Jesus Christ.
Amen!

Make a daily Call to the LORD

Make a daily Call to the LORD
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jeremiah 33:3
3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
This is why it is important that you tell our Heavenly Father that you love Him. Call on Him, and when you do, pay attention and see how His Spirit will open your understand to His Word, and do His work in your life. Pray for wisdom, and ask Him for the truths of the "mighty things", which is "the hidden things" to be revealed to you. When you talk to our Lord, you talk to Him in a natural way, like you would a friend. Many people feel that when they talk to the Lord that have to be in a certain religious mode, and use all the right words. Friend, God understands your thoughts before you even form them, but it is you that must express them in your own mind.
God has already placed the hidden things in His Word, the Scriptures, and when we ask for the wisdom to understand those hidden meanings, then understanding comes together. Verses start to relate to one another, and they start to apply to our lives. But there is a condition here, and that is if you will call unto me, and ask me. Anytime you have the word "LORD" in the King James, that means in the manuscripts it is the Sacred name of God, "YHVH", and you are to call on the Father, in Jesus name.

HE wants to show us.. He doesn’t always want us to do as man does or how they interpret things. He gave us HIS Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us. Isn’t it time we take advantage of that!!
Wealth to me means many things.. not just monetary.. and also remember the Lord wants us to have things.. He is able to give us blessings so that we can be a blessing to others. This is more important than anything we could possible have or be. WE ARE TO BE A BLESSING. We don’t have wealth to Hoard, or build ourselves up, we are blessed so we can be a blessing to others. Having wealth makes it so much easier.

ONLY JESUS CHRIST GIVES US JOY

ONLY JESUS CHRIST GIVES US JOY

If you're seeking joy today, it doesn't come in the way most people expect. Joy is not found in possessions, fame, or power. You won't find lasting joy in a promotion, a new relationship, or by getting revenge on your enemies.

Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
—Luke 15:7
Then Jesus took his disciples up the mountain and, gathering them around him, he taught them, saying:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are the meek
Blessed are they that mourn
Blessed are the merciful
Blessed are they that thirst for justice
Blessed are you when persecuted
Blessed are you when you suffer
Be glad and rejoice for your reward is great in heaven

John 14: 11“These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. (Our joy is in relationship to his joy.)

It is time for us to believe the Scriptures and make our requests known to God in Jesus’ name. Just think about the joy that would fill your heart if you really believed this promise.

First, your joy would explode every time you received the things you requested.

Second, your joy would fill up and overflow you as you discovered your God loves you enough to give you the desires of your heart. Soon, you would be telling everyone you know about your wonderful God and Savior.

The Vine and the Branches

The Vine and the Branches:
John.15:1-5

15 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

These verses tell us that we should hold on to Jesus Christ. In times when we think there is no solution to our problems, all we need is to remain in the Vine. The Lord tells us to still be in faith. He is encouraging us by telling us that everything is under control. All we need is to keep His Words and fix our eyes on Him. If we continue to be faithful, rest assured that God will provide a breakthrough to answer our needs. To summarize it all, continue to get a grip on Him, and He will make us bountiful. Without God, everything is impossible, but the Lord makes all things possible (Matthew 19:26)

All of us come to Jesus with our own weaknesses, hurts and struggles, imperfections, and sinful patterns of selfishness and pride. And it can be discouraging that as we attempt to follow Jesus and live out our faith, we sometimes struggle with some of the same issues and patterns we brought into the spiritual life. Nevertheless, John 15 offer great hope that as we abide more and more in Christ, these spiritual fruits -- love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness faithfulness, gentleness and self-control -- will grow in us more and more.

As we abide in Jesus, with His Spirit within us, His life and His character will progressively replace ours and we will bring glory to Him in our lives!

Dear Father,

I continue to struggle, but I know You are able to do great things and produce fruit in my life. Give me the confidence in You to know that You are working and pruning and growing Jesus in me day-by-day, as I abide in Him.
Amen.

Break through prayer

Paul made in one of his letters to the Corinthian Christians:

“For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” 1 Cor. 16:9

Had Paul just said, “for a great door and effectual is opened unto me” and stopped, we would have every cause to jump and shout. However, notice how he continues: “and there are many adversaries.”

That’s War at the Edge of Breakthrough.

The door was opened, and it was not an ordinary door. Paul described it as a great and effectual door. The moment the enemies saw that the door was opened, they showed up to close it, thereby hindering Paul from going through his breakthrough.

We are at the edge of breakthrough – are you going to cross over? We have all struggled to get to this point –will we follow Holy Spirit into our destiny –or – will we hold back and just test the waters?

Phil.3:8-14

Lets look at a place in the word called Kadesh Barnea. Biblical names of people, places and things have meanings that teach profound spiritual lessons.

Kadesh Barnea was a transit point in the pilgrimage of the children of Israel to the Promised Land. Kadesh Barnea was a stopping point on their journey just like the Oasis is a stopping point or staging area for you. You have the same options as the children of God

Kadesh Barnea was a point of retreat at the edge of the Promised Land. Kadesh Barnea is symbolic of a negative turning point. We have learned that there is always war at the edge of breakthrough.

Geographically, from Horeb, the mount of God, to Kadesh Barnea was eleven days journey. The presence of God experienced at Horeb – Mount Sinai – was to strengthen the faith of God’s people to enter the Promised Land. However at Kadesh Barnea, the awesome encounter with the Almighty and his mighty manifestation at Horeb was an experience, just eleven days old. Canaan itself was only two days journey away from Kadesh Barnea. Between the Promised Land and Horeb was the place where the powers of failure at the edge of success attacked, forcing the children of Israel to fall back from the place that was so close.

This journey is described in Deut 1. They had travelled for 11 days with only 2 more to go to reach their destination. Yet after all the efforts, the severity of the journey so far from Egypt, just two days to enter their rest – what happened? God’s Chosen people faltered, failed and fell to their own doom. The spirit of Kadesh Barnea was at work.

You have worked on a project. You have pursued your career to graduation level. You have prayed fervently almost getting the desired results. You have waited patiently just about to obtain the desired blessing. But something strange happens and you forfeit, you walk away from the completion of the project, the career, obtaining answers to the prayers and the patience that have cost you so much. It’s the work of the spirit of Kadesh Barnea. It makes people miss their blessings just when they are about to get them. Instead of receiving a miracle pass, the opposition intercepts and take over.

This spirit worked so much against the children of Israel that the anointed exhortations from the fire brand lips of Moses, a mighty servant of God, didn’t work. Will that happen here? The people were hardened to their own hurt. Some people are like that under the attacks of this spirit. There is nothing anybody or servant of God can say to encourage them or to help them carry on. They just want to quit their career, quit their jobs, and quit their projects, quit their counselling at the edge of their breakthroughs.

Deut. 1:40. 45-46: But as for you, turn around and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea. … You came back and wept before the LORD, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you. And so you stayed in Kadesh many days—all the time you spent there.

WHAT IS THE SPIRIT OF KADESH BARNEA IN YOUR LIFE?

? It is when you cannot point to anything tangible you have achieved with your life.

? It is when you cannot point to anything tangible you have achieved with your life.
? It is when you stand at a cross-roads, not knowing what to do or where to turn.
? It is staying at a satanic bus-stop meaning staying where you are. Your life is the same now as it was last year; it is like you are drifting in the ocean of life.
? It is becoming shepherdless even when you have a shepherd. You do things your own way. You will not allow leaders to guide you.

With fervour and urgency in your heart, pray. With a sincere heart before the Lord, you will discover the secrets you ought to know about your life. With sincerity in your heart, He easily reveals secrets to you. In your dreams, He will show you the operation of the spirit of Kadesh Barnea against your life.

When you begin to dream,
1. if you are seeing dead relatives,
2. if you are going back to your primary school,
3. if you are going back to the old house you once lived,
4. if you are wearing old clothes you used to wear when you were young
5. if you are going back to your birthplace
6. or, if you see yourself playing with your kindergarten playmates

This means there is something, some evil spirit that wants to return you to the beginning of the journey of life, all over again. — It is the spirit of Kadesh Barnea.

If you
1. see yourself climbing a mountain and yet not going anywhere;
2. if you find yourself in a vehicle without a driver or steering wheel;
3. if you are lost in the wilderness and your wandering only returns you to the same old spot,
4. if you find yourself in a particular place or building you really don’t know in the physical world.
5. if you experience that something good is coming your way and then you have a dream and it prevents the good coming your way
6. if you experience some over powering force always press you down or oppressing you
7. if you experience taking some exams you had already passed years ago,
8. or if you see yourself in your former primary and secondary schools

You must declare war on the powers that are hindering you.

God knows the secrets of the heart

God knows the secrets of the Heart.

One’s heart, as used in Scripture, refers to something more than the physical organ that beats, pumping blood and life-giving oxygen to every part of your body. The Bible uses the word to describe an aspect of God’s wondrous creation even more spectacular and critical to your well-being – the central part of your inner being where God desires to dwell and rule righteously.

The heart! Who knows their own heart for sure? When it comes right down to it, none of us really know our own heart as well as we think we do. The prophet Jeremiah 17:9-10, wrote,“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart; I test the mind, even to give every man according to His ways, according to the fruit of his doings.”

The heart is the source from which both affections and actions come, often overruling your mind and misdirecting your will.Until God is allowed to redeem and rule your heart,it will remain unholy and unruly.

Your heart can lead you to God or turn you from Him. God begins in your heart to accomplish His work of redeeming, and cleansing, and changing you.“And I will give them singleness of heart  and put a new spirit within them. I will take away their hearts of stone and give them tender hearts instead, so they will obey My laws and regulations. Then they will truly by My people, and I will be their God.”Ezekiel 11:19-20 .
Your heart has to be right before your relationship with God and others can be right.
Your heart’s cry must be as the Psalmist pleaded,“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”Psalm 139:23-24.

God uses ordinary circumstances to expose repressed feelings, carefully controlled reactions, buried emotions, old grudges and resentments, hurtful jealousies, suppressed anger and fears, or habitual behaviors.
Those tests in everyday life are not for God’s enlightenment, but to reveal the secrets of your heart for redemption, not destruction.God knows your heart; there are no secrets from Him hidden there.

You may try to hide things there, but will not succeed. Invite God, will test your heart so that you will know what is hidden.

God`s Words are a source of life and prosperity.

God`s Words are a source of life and prosperity.

His word can calm a storm

Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
The Holy Bible isn't something that you should just read once in your life, but something that you need to read, re-read, meditate on, speak out, listen to, and study as long as you live. The truths in the Bible become clearer as you read them again, and they work their way into your spirit, where they give life and hope, and where they build faith. When you stay in the Word of God, you will know what God’s will is and what is not in most situations.
John 15:7 If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it wil l be done for you." --
Meditate, in the Bible means to murmur, ponder, aloud. Read those scriptures aloud as much as possible. The Bible promises that the word of God will not go out and return unto him void. Speak his word out loud and let it get into your heart 3 ways, by sight, by ear and by mouth. You must know what you believe.
This is a generation of hustle and bustle. "Time out" for anything except sleep and medical checkups is considered idling your motor when you ought to be in high gear. Reflection and deep thought in a quiet place is a thing of the past. This idea of taking time to be holy is more often a song we sing than an accomplishment. It takes time to be holy. It takes lots of time to be truly effective for God. He daily gave his problem a second thought. It is a mistaken idea that meditation is only for those who have time for it -- daydreamers, scientists, novelists, ascetics and cloistered saints of religion. Giving life a second thought is the need of every man.
"Meditation is the skeleton key that unlocks the greatest storeroom in the house of God's provisions for the Christian."
Beware of getting alone with your own thoughts. Get alone with God's thoughts. There is danger in rummaging through waste and barren desert-thoughts that can be labeled -- daydreaming or worse. Don't meditate upon yourself but dwell upon Him -- seek God in your inner thought life. There is always danger in meditating upon problems. Develop the habit of reflection upon the Word of God and therein find the answers to your problems.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips: When I remember Thee upon my bed, and meditate on Thee in the night watches" (Psalm 63:5-6).
God inspired His Word to reveal Himself, His purposes and His plans. The Bible is a comprehensive communication from God to man. The Bible itself answers the questions it raises, which is why we say Scripture interprets Scripture. God did not prepare His Word to be confusing or misleading. He says what He means and He means what He says.
God's will is revealed in God's Word. You can plainly read a great deal about God's plans, desires, and will in the Holy Bible. What you read can change your life for good. "
2 Corinthians 1:13-For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand
When you truly delight (take great pleasure in or experience a high degree of satisfaction) in the Word, you will have a desire (a craving, a longing , a "hunger or thirst") to spend time in it and to meditate on it. Beloved, we do not naturally delight in the Holy Word for we are by nature unholy. Therefore when any man or woman begins to delight in the Word, they can know for certain that they are experiencing God's amazing grace , we see that the Holy Spirit gives us the ability to delight and the dynamic to understand God's Holy Word.
Let's get started. Since we want to make this a built-in habit of daily living, start with a moment of prayer. Ask God's help in concentration, alertness of mind and that inward sense of His abiding Presence. As a means of getting under way, here are a few suggestions that will make the following Bible verse extremely practical:
One of the most helpful approaches in meditation is to emphasize different words within the verse. As you throw them out vocally, the Holy Spirit will echo them back to your heart through your ears and mind. Read the first phrase aloud several times with striking emphasis upon the word in caps:
Put this verse from the King James Version into your own words. Say it over and over, silently and aloud, until you can communicate it back to yourself in language that has meaning. Reflect slowly. Don't be in a hurry to reword it -- rearrange the words and use your dictionary to look up words you don't understand. Perhaps you will end up with something like this:
"Up to this moment you have not been asking anything in God's authority; go ahead and ask, see if God doesn't love to answer. This is because He wants you to be full of cheerfulness."
A "verse a day" can be selected during your quiet time in the morning. To begin with, it can be done within ten minutes. Try analyzing, dissecting and chewing over such a verse during odd moments of your day -- walking to work, riding the train or bus, waiting for meals or "killing time" for that appointment. Apply it that very day. Perhaps you will have the opportunity to share it with someone else.
The crown fruit of meditation is the changed life. Without the transformed life, meditation is useless. This was the problem Jesus had with the Pharisees of His day. They knew the facts and were experts in doctrine. They were conscientious, sincere and dedicated men. But the Lord called them sons of Satan -- "Ye are of your father the devil." Why this stinging indictment? All their study of the Old Testament didn't change their lives. There was no heart application. They still oppressed the poor, defrauded the widows and pursued doubtful business practices.
Beware of meditation that ends in pious words without affecting one's practices. True meditation fires in God honoring moral actions. A changed attitude toward God and fellow man should be the result, including things like a changed work habit, a changed relationship to one's spouse or family, in short -- a changed life! Anything less means your "meditation" is little more than "pious platitudes" as they say.
Psalm 119:97 "O how I love Thy law: it is my meditation all the day".
PRAYER
If God's Word is not the desire and delight of your heart, plead with Him until He grants your request so that your soul might cultivate an appetite for the pure milk of His Word. If you pray this with clean hands and a pure heart), you can be assured God will answer it affirmatively for it is in accordance with His good and perfect will.
Will you dare to pray this prayer? Will you dare not pray this prayer

Fear the LORD and HE will make your enemies fall before you:

Jesus King of kings
Fear the LORD and HE will make your enemies fall before you:

Psalm 27:1-2 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread? When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.”

We have nothing to fear. For God will execute His plans no matter who is against you. When we trust thatGOD has our backs in all things, we know that those who come up against us will surely fall.
We can't be halfway believers.
We can't believe GOD will only take care of one problem and not the others.
We will have no fear of anything or anyone when we trust and believe in GOD.
Whom shall we fear? We shall fear Lord!

Romans 8:31 declares, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”

If we are followers of Jesus Christ, He has promised to be there for us. With an all-powerful God on our side should we be afraid of political leaders? Is Jesus going to be intimidated by a political agenda? Is the one who put this earth together going to be worried about the uncertainty of the times that we live in?

Let us not allow fear to hold our families down. Focus our eyes on Jesus, for he will protect our children, our families, and our personal lives during these uncertain times.

You Need Patience to Inherit the Promise!

You Need Patience to Inherit the Promise!

Jesus praying

Hebrews 10:35-36: “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

Patience to be willing to take as much time as necessary no matter how long to achieve the objective.
The word persevere implies effort. It means to persist, to maintain purpose in spite of difficulty, to continue steadfastly in spite of whatever that may be. Perseverance is hard work.

Most people mistakenly think that simply believing the Word of God is true is enough to obtain the promised blessings, however the Bible teaches otherwise. According to the Bible; simply believing is not enough because

James 2:19. "even the devils believe and they tremble":

Scripture states that patience is needed in order to see the manifestation of the blessing. If this is true, then it explains why so many of God's people never obtain the blessings, and it also indicates to us that it is to our benefit to gain a better understanding of this passage if we are ever to walk in the manifested promises of God.

Yes, it’s hard. Yes, things are going wrong. Sometimes you’ll be tempted to give up. But don’t. Keep going. You will be rewarded. Not maybe, not hopefully, not only if things feel right or go the way you want them to. If you keep your confidence in Christ, if you persevere in what He has called you to, you will receive the promise. Period. That’s His guarantee to you.
The hard part is in the everyday of it. In the waking up, getting up, choosing to move forward when all you want to do is crawl back into the warm darkness. But remember; only those who finish attain the prize.

Quitters never win and winners never quit. It’s impossible to win a race you don’t finish. The people who win the race are just as tired as the ones who quit. The only difference between the quitter and the winner is the stopping point— quitters stop early and winners run it out. Falling down, moving slowly, getting redirected, and ending up in last place— none of that keeps you from the finish. It’s never over until you quit.

Be encouraged today. It’s hard work, it’s tiring, it’s a long journey, but God has it mapped out. He knows the end of the story. Don’t throw away your confidence over a fleeting moment of frustration. Remember, perseverance = promise. It’s finishing, not winning, that ensures the promise.

Our Heavenly Father has given us His Word, that if we will use our faith, and have the patience, perseverance, steadfast endurance, and fierce-longness that is required of us - then we WILL obtain the promised blessing of Health, healing, deliverance, provision, safety, soundness, and any other promise granted the Church in Scripture.

There is a blessing coming to many in the New Year. You’ve lived in confusion and trials all through 2012. You’ve battled giants in the land. You’ve been tossed up and down. But God sees you in the midst of the storm. He is telling you – hold on! Persevere! Don’t give up! Keep obeying, keep trusting, keep believing and you WILL receive the reward. You will receive what he has promised to you.
